What to expect

When you arrival at Doubletree by Hilton

The earliest check in is 2pm.

Here are the directions to the hotel:

From junction 4 of the M4: Follow signs for Heathrow airport. Take the slip road marked A4 before the airport tunnel. This takes you onto the A4 Bath Road.
Follow the A4 for two miles, following signs for central London. The hotel is on the left at the traffic lights.
From junction 3 of the M4: Take the third exit off the roundabout, following signs for terminal 4 and Staines. taking the third exit off the roundabout. Stay on this road until you reach
At the Waggoners roundabout take the third exit, signposted for terminals 2, 3 and 4. Follow the A4, passing the pedestrian crossing, and take the next right at the traffic lights. The hotel is on your immediate left.

Once you get in, park your car and head to reception. Overnight parking costs £12.50.


Enjoy a candlelit dinner with your plus one or plus two or even plus three. Cosy up with your partner with a sharing platter or feed the whole family, with plenty of options to choose from on the menu. What better way to end your evening than by enjoying a delicious meal? Especially since kids under ten eat free.
Here's just a few things from the menu to get your tastebuds going. To start, how about pan seared scallops, black pudding and crispy bacon with sun blush tomato or beetroot and butternut salad and toasted hazelnuts with bramble vinaigrette? For your main, herb crusted breast of chicken and dauphinoise potatoes with green beans or field mushroom and leek risotto served with garlic bread? There is also pasta, salads, pies and home comforts such as shepherd's pie with a cheese top, served with vegetables and rich gravy. And if you can manage to squeeze it in, hot chocolate fudge cake, white chocolate mousse with dairy chocolate ice cream or glazed lemon tart with raspberry salsa. We don't know about you, but this is making us hungry.
If you are just after a snack, you can choose from sharing platters, triple decker sandwiches, panini and wraps. These can be enjoyed in the bar or in the comfort of your own room. Breakfast is served from 6am to 9.30am on weekdays, 7am to 10.30am on Saturdays, and 7am to midday on Sundays. The restaurant is also, open for lunch every day. Dinner is served from 6pm to 10.30pm every day. If you just fancy a drink, how about enjoying your drink with free bar nibbles and wireless internet? Also the bar only closes when you leave!
Breakfast costs £14.40 if booked at check in, but £17 on the door.

On your departure

The latest check out is 12 noon.

You can catch the Hoppa from the hotel to Terminal 2. The bus operates between 4am and midnight and stops at other hotels on the way, so it can take between 30 and 45 minutes.

You can plan your journey here before you travel or ask the hotel when you arrive.

Alternatively a taxi to the airport takes 10-15 minutes and costs £15-25.
