Manchester Airport Parking

Manchester Airport is one of the busiest in the UK and caters for travellers driving to the airport with an extensive range of car parking options from Meet & Greet Valet parking, short stay and long stay parking to hotels with parking packages included. If you’re looking for Manchester airport parking read on…

For short stay parking of less than 24 hours there is the multi-storey car park. This car park is undercover and only a short walk to check-in. Its ideal for dropping off and picking up friends and family or for a short business trip.

For stays of more than 24 hours we recommend the long stay car parks, which are more cost effective but still only 5-10 minutes transfer time with a free shuttle bus every 10 mins. Alternatively, you can walk to the terminals from these on-airport car parks and depending on where you’ve found a space for your car it should take between 5-15 minutes.

For longer stays of 7 days or more you can get better rates with the off-airport car parks. These operate a free shuttle bus running every 15 mins and taking between 5-15 to get to the terminals.

Long Stay Parking at Manchester Airport

You can choose between on-airport and off-airport car parks here.

The on-airport car parks are simply called Long Stay. They are situated in two locations close to Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Depending on where you park in the car parks the free shuttle bus will take 5-10 minutes and runs every 10 minutes.

The off-airport car parks are called JetParks 1, 2 and 3 plus JetParks Ringway. They are both car parks official car parks operated by Manchester Airport. The difference is their location. For Terminal 2 the closest car park is JetParks 1 and 2, and for Terminals 2 and 3 its JetParks 3 and JetParks Ringway.

All JetParks car parks have free bus transfers to the airport. These run every 15 minutes and take between 7-13 minutes. You park your car and keep the keys. This car park is secure holding the Park Mark security award. It is well lit for arrivals late at night and operates Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), for simple and quick, entry and exit.

APH Manchester is in Bradnor Road, Sharston Ind, Area Manchester M22 4TE. Its an off-airport car park not affiliated to the airport. The difference with JetParks is that you hand in your keys with APH as they will park your car for you. Secured with CCTV, 24-hour patrols and a barrier-controlled entry and exit system this award-winning car park is only 10-15 minutes from the airport.

Short Stay Parking

The short stay car parks are on-airport. There is the Multi-storey and the Long Stay car park.

For short stay parking of less than 24 hours there is the multi-storey car park. This car park is undercover and only a short walk to check-in. Its ideal for dropping off and picking up friends and family or for a short business trip.

Meet & Greet and Valet Parking

We have three companies offering Meet & Greet Parking at Manchester Airport. All of them offer the same service. That is being met at the departure terminal by a chauffeur who will take your car to secure storage area close to the airport.

Meet and Greet T1, 2 & 3 – Official Airport Service

When you reach the entrance to the terminal 1 Meet and Greet car park, press the help button and quote your booking reference number and name to a member of staff. Make sure you don’t take a ticket. Once you have parked, unload your luggage and enter the Valet reception to drop off your key. You will be given a receipt, which you should keep safe for when you get back.

Take your luggage from your car and let the car park team check your car over, then just follow the footpath into Terminal 1.

Purple Parking Meet & Greet

Your chauffeur will be waiting for you with a luggage trolley. They’ll check your car for damage and then show you where to go to check in while they take your car to the secured car park. Your car will be stored at: Norman Road, Altrincham, Manchester WA14 4EN

Skypark Meet & Greet

Pull up at the designated area (as agreed on the phone) where a chauffeur will be waiting to drive your car to the secured car park. Then carry on to check-in. On your return, give Skypark Meet and Greet a call so you can arrange where to meet your chauffeur who will return your car. Your car will be stored in Skypark’s secured multi-storey car park.

Valet Parking

Many people ask for Valet Parking. This is the same service as Meet & Greet Parking. In the UK we call it Meet & Greet while in the US they call it Valet Parking.

Airport Hotels with Parking

Another popular Manchester airport parking option is to take advantage of some great value hotel deals which include car parking to make a hotel with parking package. A good idea for travellers with a long drive to Manchester Airport and an early flight, or a late return. You can have a restful night in a nearby hotel safe in the knowledge that you won’t miss that early flight!

Parking at Manchester airport

Used the meet and greet parking service at Manchester airport. Staff were friendly and professional. Most of the service is automated so took under 10 minutes on both arrival and departure. Great service at a reasonable price, would highly recommend.

Disappointing

Waited almost 45 minutes to be transported from the car park to the terminal on the start of the holiday. The bus then went via all other terminals before dropping us off. It claims to be 5 mins from the airport but it is more like 15-20 to certain terminals!!The service on the return was not much better. Waited approx. 20 mins and then it goes to other terminals before going to the car park. I would not use them again.

Please tell us which car park you booked so that other customers can be advised.

Never again

The website says the parking is 10 mins from airport and that buses run every 10mins it took 45mins from parking the car to get to terminal. On return whilst quickly checking the bus was the right one and trying to engage with the driver he just drove off and then we waited 20 mins for another one. We will never use Jet Parks again.

We are sorry about this poor service and have forwarded your comments to Jetparks.

Efficient

A little time to wait for the bus. Our flight was late, but we made sure that we were well covered by ringing parking for less when our flight time was altered about a month before our flight..The person we spoke to when we rang Parking for Less was very helpful, and enabled us to change our times, which fitted with the new timing. Manchester airport parking is at the moment being improved, so taking care to remember where you are parked is helpful.

Stress Free

Paniced about actual entrance as going up the nearby multi storey with no backing out would have been expensive and a waste of time. Think a map of the entrance would have been more helpful than a text description, but once over this hiccup the drop off was flawless. On arrival I remembered the safe place I had put the ticket and the Car was waiting, so took 4 mins from exiting the terminal to being in the driving seat. Would use again.

Great experience

Excellent experience right through the process. Thank you. My new go to travel car parking!
