You can check in from 2pm. Overnight parking at the hotel is free, if you need it.

Here are your directions to the hotel:
- Leave the M6 at junction 19 and join the A56 towards Altrincham. Go through two sets of traffic lights.
- At the large roundabout take the second exit towards Altrincham. You will pass a Total garage on your right.
- At the first set of traffic lights turn right onto the B5161 Park Road towards Bowdon and Hale. The hotel is about a mile down this road on the right.

If you are using a sat nav, it may be helpful to know that the hotel used to be called the Quality Hotel Altrincham.

If you're travelling to the hotel by train the nearest station is Hale. It's just around the corner from the hotel, about 6 minutes walk away. If you'd rather get a taxi, it'll cost around £4 - £5. If you're getting the train from the airport, you'll need to go from Altrincham station, as Hale station is not on the same line.

Take your seat in the Mercure Bowdon Hotel's restaurant - with the superb selection of dishes you might have trouble leaving. Of course some dishes change daily but you can still have one, two or three courses? Decisions, decisions. Warm black pudding and bacon salad, vegetable spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce or breaded brie with a fruit chutney to start, followed by goats cheese and mediterranean bake, fillet of sea bass with roasted vegetable and saute new potatoes or pork lion steak with honey and coarse mustard sauce. Then sticky toffee pudding or fresh fruit salad to finish. To name but a few.Dinner is served every day from 7pm and last orders are at 9.30pm.

If you're looking for a quick bite to eat, the stylish Cafe Bar serves snacks throughout the day. You can also sample tasty Lavazza coffee as well as your favourite wines, spirits or soft drinks. The latest you can check out is 12pm. A taxi to the airport will cost around £12 each way - just ask the hotel reception to book them for you.

The hotel's swimming pool is open for children to use from 11am - 2pm Monday and Wednesday, 3pm - 6pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 9am - 5pm weekends.
