Exeter airport opened its new terminal building in 2003. The airport is close to the centre of Exeter and a short drive from the M5 motorway.
It is the base for Flybe who operate a comprehensive flight schedule alongside holiday operators Thomson and Thomas Cook.
Exeter international airport flies passengers to Spain, France, Portugal, Switzerland and Italy to name but a few. They also operate flights to Manchester, Paris and Amsterdam which are travel hubs to further international destinations.
Land side the terminal provides a cafe, currency exchange and newsagents in the check in area.
Once through the usual airport passport and security checks passengers can relax in the bar, restaurant or cafe for a pre flight meal or drink.
There is a duty free shopping area where it is possible to buy perfumes, confectionary, jewellery and gifts. There is an Executive lounge with free wi-fi and complimentary tea and coffee for an additional charge.
