Short & Long Stay Parking - On Airport

There are two kinds of public parking at JFK: Long-Term Parking and Central Terminal Area (CTA) Parking

The Long-Term Parking Lot is located at Lefferts Blvd., approximately 4 miles from Terminals 1 through 9.

The Green, Blue, Orange, Yellow and Red Parking Lots are adjacent to Terminals 1 through 9. Due to ongoing construction, the Red Parking Lot is closed from time to time. When this occurs, you will be directed to the Green Parking Lot, where free, frequent shuttle bus service stops near the Terminal 3 Walkway and will take you from the Green Parking Lot to Terminals 8 and 9. Please note that parking is extremely limited in the Orange lot for Terminals 5 and 6. If the Orange lot is full, please park in the parking garage in the Blue Parking area.

Disabled / Handicap Parking Parking

In addition, reserved spaces for disabled parkers are located in each of the airport's Parking Lots close to the terminals, and in the parking garages in the Blue Lot and the Green Lot. Official disabled license plates or other official permits issued by a municipality or state of residence must be prominently displayed in order to park in these spaces. The fee for disabled parkers parking in these spaces is the same as the rates for the Long-Term Parking Lot.
